Pneumatic Float Switch

Pneumatic float switch.

The magnetic float switch is an air sensor for detecting liquid level inside a vessel. Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds these valves create two actions and have two exhaust ports which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. A manual valve actuator is provided to open the valve manually if desired. The switch is designed to function as either a pneumatic high or low switch or as an automatic water make up valve. The model kpfs pneumatic float switch can be ordered to have the pneumatic valve open when it senses a liquid level rising lr option or open when it senses the liquid level falling lf option.
