Use a weak stream of water or a soft bristle brush to apply the mixture and then rinse away with water from a hose. Temporary short lived results can be had using a pressure washer however but we believe the risks of falling on the slippery cedar and splitting the cedar shakes far outweighs the short lived clean. Pressure washing should only be done by a trained professional in cases of extreme moss and debris build up. Slate shingles are a beautiful material for roofing but are delicate and costly to replace.
